As a disabled person:
Ai does not make art accessible, it makes producing a PRODUCT accessible, and thus makes actual art LESS accessible.
Creativity is especially important for us. Trying to nullify what is, at times, the only thing in our lives we have control over— that brings community to us when we can’t leave the house, lets us work towards something meaningful, gives us an outlet that’s safe and communicates some fraction of what we go through— if anything, THAT’S ableist.
Art is the process, not the product. The process keeps people alive.
Which isn’t to say art is easy. Only that there’s always a way to reach the experience of it, with time, which is perhaps normal for other people but being disabled takes away a lot of that, and sometimes art is all that’s left.
