Yes and people attacked machines during the industrial revolution . We used to have an agricultural based society requiring human labor . We still have it in the world today .
Industrialization was going to destroy the need for people . Instead it saved us from back breaking work and increased life spans .
Lets take health for example . One of the most difficult challenges in Healthcare is a proper , accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment plan on a individual basis. I see the potential for AI to solve this problem . It will be another tool in our tool box . My Doctor will use it to give me better Healthcare outcomes .
AI will displace people and have downsides . Overall I see a benefit .
We live in a paranoid conspiracy driven world .
