There are two options for the future:
1. We accept that as technology becomes more autonomous, we need to work less and this will have more time for family, art, and life in general.
2. We allow wealth to concentrate as larger and larger portions of the population are deemed unnecessary and watch those on the edge of irrelevance work themselves to death for the ever shrinking minority living in extreme wealth.
There was a time not that long ago when people were beginning to work only 8 hours a day 5 days a week and they assumed that trend would continue as technology made us more productive. We should all ask ourselves why that didn't happen despite workers today being the most productive in history.
