The addiction to the smartphone PRIOR to AI should've awakened humanity to the danger.
Now, it's too late. Most people are so far gone—heads down in devices the majority of their day, they might as well be on Fentanyl 24/7.
AI is only going to make the addiction that much harder to quit, if it's even possible.
I have no social media on my phone. I do all of that on my iMac at home, like right now. An hour a day at the most. The rest of my time is mine.
When I'm out, I'm offline. Period. I walk, cycle, take trains, ride my motorbike around Tokyo and all I see are zombies. It's quite scary to see how easily people gave up their lives to a rectangle.
