If you hire a driverless car..That is one less human driver. That sends the message to business owners to buy more driverless cars. Same for grocery self-checkout. Gas stations. Cinema. Online purchasers.
WE are the problem.
WE Humans can delay / control how slow or fast this tech develops.
RESIST. Pay slightly more to ensure a human remains employed.
