I hope this private detective is able to get something done where the law failed. At least the family deserves to find out how their child actually died.
If it does turn out not to be self inflicted, or if he was coerced into doing it somehow, we all know what that says about OpenAI and the state of AI tech in general. One of MatPat's last videos was about how media such as films and TV shows have started switching from being anti-AI to being pro-AI, even blaming humans who are distrustful of AI in their plots. This timing is no coincidence.
