Yes, but... how do we keep _humans_ from developing a kink for express nuclear depopulation? Seems like a more immediate problem given our despotic political critters and their lust for total control, whatever that means. As for AI's future, all I can suggest is we treat all our children with love and respect, including both the genetic-meat-puppet kind and the binary-silicon-puppet kind, and don't give any of them the power to remake the world all by themselves.
