They Only Care About Return On Investment.
That causes issues to everything and makes it so that corporate companies are above the law. Don't believe me? Erin Brockovich is exactly that.. human lives where the cost and meant nothing to the company that killed them, nor did it mean anything to the investors who got their return on investment which forced the company to do unethical things to make profit. This is what he is talking about but she misses this aspect as if she is oblivious to what is important, oh wait she works for a media company who has investors and are only interested in if the AI is sentient.
