AI does not "have" knowledge. Humans have knowledge. AI has access to data representing human knowledge. Cutting off its access to data and wiping its memory could be a fail safe. An emp pulse could be used as a last resort if that fails. In any case, these greedy companies indeed have no concern other than profits!
