anyone knows by this point that the risks of AI outweighs the benefits of AI. in a world of all wealth at the top and businesses only selling high cost products to each other there will be an enormous societal dropoff. so all AI advances, under the socio-economic model thats been operated since the 1800s will only be for the ultra wealthy. Krystal is right that there is zero indication of Universal High Income happening at all. extrapolating from what we have seen(which is how you predict) this will be dystopia. people will break from society. they will no longer pay their bills. communities of people will start from scratch. and if the new world AI is vindictive it will go after communities and kill everyone. because no rules will be applied anymore = complete breakdown of society and order. we will go back to a tribal, survival based life. but, we will also be free from corporate enslavement like we have increasingly been.
