I mean, if you show an AI anything to do with race or gender then it will learn from the most popular posts/websites. I'm going to assume that they showed it the entirety of the internet (very big no no), and sadly, there is ALOT of stuff like that. While there are racist people of color and sexist women, the majority of the content was white racism and white supremacy.
