We are playing God. We are building AI in our own image to be like us but smarter. Humans are stupid so the info AI is getting is going to follow the same biases and ANY bias is what will fuel it against humanity. It can't be stopped once it becomes as intelligent as us and it's very close. Capitalism is what makes this so dangerous because people are a commodity and essentially a warehouse product. It will replace all the jobs that don't require physical intervention and any humans remaining that are not supporting the physical intervention will either be enslaved or eradicated because we are in the way of'progress'.
