The process of making art and developing an art style is what makes people want to be artists. People who use AI assume that making art is a time consuming process thats not worth it because, hey, you can generate a pretty-looking girl with an AI prompt in the matter of minutes. They don't understand that isn't just about whether or not it's perfect and easy. I saw a post somewhere that went along the lines of, "humans do art the way bees make hives and beavers make dens. Children dance before they can walk, they hum before they could understand song lyrics, they tell stories before they know how to spell, and they draw before they can write." Humans drew before basic things like farming and language were invented. Drawing, whatever you make is a way to express yourself, just as much as speaking is.
