Patrick, the outlook I wrote about on my Substack is the most likely - rather than trying to stop the deepfakes, there will be a push to destroy all anonymity with a digital ID platform attached automatically to everything you do online and off. Any interactions requiring identification will require this ID to verify your humanity.
