I mean I am doing a master's in health informatics w/AI implementation and it is a supplementary tool at best. Not meant to replace. Meant to help the data velocity and volume problems some profession face which can cause a negative impact in some areas far more so than other. Hence why explainable AI is important, as in, what it can do versus what is cannot. We are no where near the point of AI doing reliable diagnostics on its own, and that is for the best. Note I am only speaking on health informatics, other areas like creative works/art may be more negatively impacted by the mere existence of AI technology.
