I’m not a scientist or an AI specialist but anyone telling me AI is sentient is a total liar.
Sentience comes from deep emotions, chemicals, evolution, the limbic system, etc.
Unless you’re changing the definition, it’s just not adequate to equate AI with human intelligence at all. Even if it’s smarter than us on all metrics.
