Maybe it is just because of my computer knowledge, but AI is not going to take everyone's jobs. This was said about factory automation then introduction of computers, and they changed peoples jobs, mostly for the better. AI is already doing the same for many fields helping make people more efficient. At its core, AI doesn't understand context and likely never will. It has to be prompted and programmed, and obviously originality is not it's forte. It might be able to put some pieces together in new ways but it's not likely to be original. I think this is true in art with AI. Originality will always be the domain of the artists. Also I was a $25/mo patreon of an artist for many years, and also bought many of their products. Recently, I commented on one of their posts about AI that I disagree that all AI is bad. I still believe that even for artists it can be a time or tedium saving tool much like computers when they were introduced. For these comments, the artist blocked me from following on socials, and even kicked me out of their patreon. I am now so conflicted and feel persecuted for my opinion. Anyway, your voice is soothing and your stories interesting. Keep it up.
