there's one point not mentioned here, some artists original work is actually used as a base and get their signature elements taken by the ai to put into other artworks, AI art is the saddest thing I have ever seen happen to the arts scene, the AI cannot and will never produce works with the quality of humans is all I will say. it cannot replicate the breath of life.
