Generative AI's "art" is only good for throwaway art. Like if you're in a chat and someone says "ghostbuster" instead of "dustbuster" and you want a funny image that will only ever really be funny in that one instance before it gets forgotten forever. Unfortunately AI art generators are extremely exploitative so the ethical view becomes "Exploit millions to make a thing that is intended to be thrown away." and that's not great.
