I have to say, I'm cautiously optimistic about the incredible fight-back against AI art in ideas like this one. I support independant artists every chance my wallet will let me (and sometimes when it won't too) and I've been so angry and heartbroken since this started. I've been really heart sick. My brother works in gaming as an art director and seeing him and his incredibly talented partner practically give themselves ulcers over their carreers being eaten up by AI has been horrific to watch. But he's relaxed a little, and so has she. Just a little. I think other things are being done behind the scenes to do similar things in their career tracks. And all I can say is keep fighting and I'll keep sending support any which way I can.
