Raw LLM Responses

I've been trying to put this point out, because it's an important, targeted comeback at NaNoWriMo. When they try to say it is ableist to assume people can just have friends who will help them with their writing - they are talking about people like me. I have relational OCD. All of my obsessions and compulsions, the source of every panic attack, comes from trauma and internal dialogue surrounding social interactions. I can't work full time because the stress of maintaining surface level coworker relationships wipes me out. I can count the number of people I really hold near and dear on two hands, and it's only been through therapy that I've been able to upgrade from one hand. Joining communities to improve my writing is my OCD nightmare - especially because writers are people, and some writers have burned me badly. HOWEVER. AI would do NOTHING to help me. I have grown and improved as both a writer and a human being because I have worked so hard to put myself out there, take baby steps, learn healthy boundaries. Can AI help anyone do that? Can they help the ACTUAL debilitating internal monologue loops that threaten to keep writers like me in a mental prison? NO. I take direct, personal offense to NaNo trying to say that their alliance with AI is in an effort to help me. AI does not replace genuine human contact, feedback, experience, perspective, and support.
