I personally feel that developers are still needed. AI may be improving very fast, but it will take at least a year or maybe a couple of years to truly match what a human can do. This is just my view after watching the rapid growth happening in AI and how quickly the software development landscape is changing. That said, the future may not be easy for developers. Things will definitely become more competitive and challenging. Many parts of businesses will be run by AI, and that’s not really surprising. Also, this video seems to focus only on one or two aspects of software development. But in many other areas, AI is already starting to dominate.
