Hey you probably won’t see this but I just wanna say something: I’ve always had an iffy stance on using AI. AI artist are absolutely not artist that much is clear but I’ve always felt very insecure about my own skills. I always have this overly imaginative images in my head that I wish I could put on to paper with the snap of my fingers. Sometimes it gets frustrating trying and failing to recreate what you see in your mind. Sometimes that leads you to comparing what little skill you have to other artist. And yes, I know, it’s the worst thing to do but once it happens it’s hard to stop. And even harder to stop thoughts like: Why even bother? Wouldn’t it be easier to use AI instead? What I mean to say is I saw one of your shorts rightfully bashing AI but also showing where you started vs where you are now. It gave me the courage to draw a little OC and I actually really liked how he looked. It made me want to keep trying. I want to keep trying. The thoughts are still there but it’s not as loud, also I just imagine my anxiety as Tito the mosquito and constantly beat the shit outta him, which is strangely therapeutic? (Shrug) I’m still a little intimidated on how much I can learn to get better but I’m excited too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me see it in a different view. You truly are an inspiration.
