11:35 I don’t like modern Art, but to me it’s actually the furtherest removed from ‘AI’ art. Because it ignores artists merit and skill to go right for the impact on the viewer. “Why would anyone glue their pubes to a wall” or “I hate that Banana thing” are the intended reactions. They are the point, they make people stop and question (mostly the artists sanity, but they still question things). ‘AI’ Art can never do that. There is no one to question, there is no point, no intend, it’s empty. The answer to all questions is “it’s AI”.
Hence this is also why his experiment failed, presenting generated images to modern art lovers as a gotcha has intent, it’s stupid, but it makes you question the guy, hence it is modern art. Of course they’ll love it. By trying to confuse modern Art lovers, you become the modern artist.
