I had someone try to argue that using AI is like using any tool. That they managed to make a n "art piece" that illicited weeping from people by prompting exactly how they wanted it. Were they less of an artist because they didn't use clay, paint, or paper?
Well... if I commission an artist, I'm prompting the artist. I tell them style, theme, and subject. Whatever they come up with I can influence to a certain degree. If I ttok that commissioned artwork then, could I tell everybody that I'm the artist of that artwork?
I hope everybody cansee how that's not the case.
