So AI is going to kill us. It’s like with guns. If you restrict guns, you have less gun deaths. Would it be great if humans wouldn’t use guns in the first place. Yes. Is that realistic. No. Not all people have a moral compass, a good percentage of us are plain narcissists or psychopath. And you have to always account for the worst-case scenario. AI development is not doing that. They embrace the worst-case scenario. AI will be our downfall.
