This is so crazy. In fact, you don't need a brain, pun intended, to understand that learning involves use of your brain. I attended college and graduate school in the 80's, and I discovered, having done fairly poorly in HS but rocked on in college, getting all A's, not so much from brilliance but more from just good old fashioned hard work, that my schooling taught me so much about not what to think but how to think, how to learn, how to understand. Ever since, I do not look just at the surface but realize and seek out the much greater depth of understanding of issues that are so commonly a part of many areas of inquiry. Use of AI robs the user of this process and hence the learning of how to use your brain to think critically and deeply. Often times I have trouble trying to explain concepts and ideas to others because the explanation requires that the listener grasp and then place in their mind one full concept, then do the same for another full concept, then a third, and so forth, and after a time begin to work these complex concepts together to attain a fuller understanding. This level of depth is both essential to true and full understanding of many issues we face every day, and also rarely every perceived sadly because so few individuals ever learned to operate at these levels. We live in a very complex world, and if one is not able think and understand at these very deep levels, then they can never hope to begin to understand and hence make accurate judgments about these matters. You have to decide what kind of person you wish to be: one who lives in ignorance all the while believing falsely that your are actually informed, or one who is at least able with effort to be accurately informed.
