As someone who can do both normal art and AI art, I've always hated how even in a non-AI world, yall love to crashout over the inseperable artist to the art. The artist must be a paragon of prudish, sanitized standpoints, the art must be a bastion of overly-diverse and overly-existential virtue signalling, and both the art and the artist must be treated as untouchable kings and queens of the human experience. (Looking at you, Studio Ghibli shills.) And by proxy, the corporate Nintendo and Disney bootlickers that love to overconstrict the reign of copyright/trademark/IP/fair use laws even further, criminalizing and demonizing the world for the sake of their "progressive, innovative, transformative, soulful" work on this world. I know that AI articles, AI streamers, and AI podcasts suck. However, I still dip my toes in some forms of AI, because I know for a god damn fact that my personal fufillment as both a "creator" (glorified verbal prompter director) and as a consumer (a bottom 99% product of social media companies) is 1000% independent of how many shallow parasocial fans "care for me". I know my own human art will never be as quirky as "infinite love <3", as "soulful" as Ghibli eyes, and certainly never be a trending Twitter post, and I accept that, because I don't give myself, or other creators, a god complex of heavenly privilege and authority. White collar "tech bros", blue collar plumbers, and "passionate underdog" creatives alike are ALL disposable and replacable, and it isn't wrong for other people to have my same beliefs as well.
