I think that AI art could be taken more seriously if it was more than just “I came up with the prompt”. If you coded an AI yourself, trained it yourself, then made it produce art for you, I could consider that art. But even then, could you claim the art was yours or just the AI? If you build the nicest brush the world has seen and then someone else paints with it, is that your art?
