What happens when a driverless truck blows a trailer tire? Maybe a drive axle tire? Or even worse, a steer axle tire? Ever been close to a truck when a trailer tire goes? A drive tire? A steer tire? I spend lots of time on the road delivering parts to keep trucks on the road. I've been next to truck when a steer axle tire blew out. It wasn't pretty. It was scary. Can a robot handle the truck when this happens???
