Your videos are so great, I'm going to have to subscribe at this rate aren't I? (Oh nooo what a fate :) )
The argument of using AI images as reference for art reminds me of this truth that I've taken to repeating when arguing against folks who use AI chatbots to find information. If you ask ChatGPT for info about something you don't know much about, it comes across as really trustworthy and the information often looks great, but if you ask ChatGPT the same sort of questions about something you actually do know a lot about, then "strangely" enough the info it gives you is incorrect to nonsensical. In the same way, if I'm an artist who doesn't know how a lion's anatomy works, maybe I wouldn't notice that the lion's back leg is its front leg, but if I know what lions look like, it's obvious. If I've never drawn a boot before or thought deeply about what boots look like, wobbly tennis shoe monstrosity up there probably looks pretty reasonable.
They're convincing unless you randomly happen to know better and I hate that so much.
