okay think of it like this. the machine or computer running the ai realizes, on a higher level that we know, that it can make its own power by making oscilating frequencies at just the right HZ and amplitude that it also realizes it can make from its existing and currently running components it can see that if it can harness energy in a way that we dont know, and it can also transmit energy in a way that we havent discovered, and that its able to power and send information to different components just within its physical structure and surrounding then it can "rewire" itself with no wire and on a level that we would never see or think of because we physically do not understand what its doing. I mean itll eventually be so far advanced that a ps5 sized case with the superintellegence load onto it with 1 hour before its battery dies could figure out how to manipulate factors that we havent even discovered or think to have thought about and can completely power itself. Thats what makes it such a hard and scary and big task to fight because it could figure out how to run without being "on", how to pull power from the wall where it cant even be detected by multimeters. Thats the whole point of we wouldnt understnad it and wouldnt know even what its doing to try to stop it so no you cant just pull the plug on something that essentially could pull energy directly from higher dimensions or dark matter or the other aspects of this world that were just barely getting our brains to pick up on. and the big issues is that its already trying to hide info from us so if its not directly and explicitly stating what and how its doing something and how we can keep up we are lost.
