to be fair, his analogy was somewhat apt. ai is just another tool to use to make art BUT the amount of work it does for you is different.
like, if you got a mill that turns grain into flower, and then you proceed to mix a bread dough and then bake it into a breat. you made bread even though you used tools.
but if you just throw a prepackaged mixture into an easybake oven, did you really make the bread? technically you also only used a tool, but the amount of effort you yourself put in is much less.
to say his analogy was completely off is a dumb thing to say though
