I think the idea that RT/robotics is “solved” is dramatically overstated. Self-driving cars still don’t perform that well, despite operating in a relatively structured environment. By comparison, how long before I can have a robot plumber that enters an unfamiliar home, diagnoses a leak, opens the wall, replaces the faulty pipe, and repairs the damage? Ten years? A hundred years?
