As an artist, it was important to me to look into AI art and how viable is would be as a replacement for what I do. I tried really hard to AI generate a replica of one of my character designs to get to the point where it looked even remotely close to 1. What I created and 2. What I imagine in my head and I could not get something even close to what I had or imagined. It would take longer for me to write the 1000 word prompt to get even a fraction of what I wanted it to look like than to just draw it myself. AI artists have a very shallow view of art and concept art. They think that good technical quality + pretty = good art when practically AI art is pretty useless. In this video alone you showed an anime-esque AI picture with the white hair and that prompt was incredibly long but the generator did not even follow half the instructions. The prompter asked for the girl to be standing and wearing a flowing dress in a field of flowing grass, but the girl was sitting, not in a dress, and in a field of red flowers. It just spit something adjacent out and the person who prompted it probably went "oh it's so pretty!", but it's not what they prompted. AI art fails at being able to execute a vision for anything beyond the basics. It's for people who have a loose idea but no real vision and want the computer to do the heavy lifting for them and that totally makes sense when you have no control over most of the elements of the picture being produced.
