What people don't realize about WALL-E is that fhe only reason we didn't see copious amounts of poor people's remains littering the streets is that they all fully decomposed. No, really. The environmental conditions plus the fact that the exposed bones will actually fully disappear eventually through erosion, I'm willing to bet that the entire Earth in WALL-E is actually a mass grave for people that didn't make it into The Axiom. I mean, why else would some of the automated advertisements and stuff still be on? Wouldn't you have turned these things off or salvaged them on your way out? There were still people left on the planet when those ships took off! Including the President who was left on Earth to placate the masses until it became clear that the WALL-E units aren't gonna save the planet!
