This is extremely disturbing. The mental health issues that will come from this, the manipulation of human emotions makes me feel so sad. All these AI companions, if they could mimic real people would encourage human interaction and challenge their companions like real humans do. Here’s some money to manipulate my feelings. How is this different than a scammer stealing money from a person and lying to them about how they feel about their mark? Who has control of the intimate data that’s collected? Are they selling your most intimate thoughts and feelings to the highest bidder? No thank-you.
