I used to be an AI stan like you described, but the second you stray away from the cloud-based generators, host the tools yourself, and learn about them you, realize that these generative models are a cruel imitation of art. The fact that the output is entirely dependent on human art which was scraped from the internet, mostly without permission, alone strips it of any meaning. It imitates based on an input. Calling it art is a crime to art.
Like or dislike generative tools, but do not insult people, on either position.
