Dr Hinton has a very authoritarian political worldview ... casually mentioned we need a competent one world government ... talks of BBC & New York Times as responsible news ... that we have found lie to us constantly & hugely biased ... and it seems too he believes threats to be more than he says but doesn't want to seem to extreme so he conforms to a certain tone ... but I agree with him on the concept of A.I. being extremely dangerous ... and people like him with his domesticated worldview and no considerations of human rights is one side of the danger ... the other that A.I. Super Intelligence eliminates us because we would be the only threat to it's existence the other big danger. I see danger all around and wish he could express himself not downplaying the dangers and being sort of timid out of Social conformity. I am not mad at him that we disagree ... I'm upset that the worldviews, politics, and manners of these educated leaders is so wishy washy. I want to hear what you really think Dr Hinton ... unhindered by politeness and manners.. Guess I'm just a rabid feral American.
