Where is the money gonna come from to support Universal Income? It's like a benefit, if people aren't working, you have no tax or any other money in the budget. Are you gonna tax the AI? I don't see Amazon starting to pay their taxes all of a sudden.
Elon and people like him have not really thought this through. OR he doesn't want to say out loud what we already know.
This gentleman here knows a few things and we should all dig deeper. Because many are excited about what AI will be able to do but like this man says, emotionally we have no idea what this means - to culture, society, our values and systems, our families, our mental health.
AI is not for us to have more comfortable lives. It's meant to replace us so that the rich could get richer and the rest of us will be living in squalor. Maybe try running a simulation to see where we're headed, that would make a great video. And we're just a few years away, in my opinion. AI totally exploded in 2025 and it's been growing exponentially. We need to act now.
