5:36 It's telling that all Shad's examples of his own digital art look absolutely horrid compared to his hand-drawn art, but in his mind it looks "higher quality." Sure, that's an extremely subjective opinion, but his choice of colors and the way he uses gradients on cartoony images (6:06) clashes badly to me.
