Something that should alarm people concerned about AI, is that there is a company called "Cortical Labs" that sells a development kit using a living human brain neurons for computing functions. Scientific American did an article on this citing it's ability to play Doom. How Ironic...
I think it's reasonable to conclude that with the explosive level of digital AI intelligence, that it is a short hop to add something like this to it for more "human like" functionality. What happens when it want's to be let out of the box?
