That first part reminded me a bit of what happened during the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. The police tried to submit ai enhanced videos (a blurry vid from an iphone) as evidence and the judge threw it out because the expert admitted that the ai edits the video to enhance it. Essentially, the software back then would fill in the gaps with what would be the most likely image... When they compared the same footage against itself it gave a different result, because it was just making stuff up. It was something regarding if his finger was on the trigger or not. Overall it was good for them to toss that, but I doubt that would have happened if that same lawsuit happened today. So many people now just blindly listen to ai.
