The guest doesn’t know whether there’s a reason to be hopeful…..Tells us to throw resources at it….as though the everyday listener has power….Believes people don’t have souls….He couldn’t foresee the impending doom but profited handsomely from it….He has no grandkids and he worked for Google for 10 years so his kids are extremely wealthy….didnt want to work on AI safety while at Google because felt wrong to betray Google by voicing safety concerns…..hmmmmmm….very uninspired by the whole interview….it took more than it gave….
