At the moment, AI isn't actually replacing anyone's job. Those statistics aren't accurate. Many companies claim they're using AI, but in reality, they're not.
For example, in the past, when I had a problem with my cell phone provider, I would speak to a customer service representative who spoke English very well most likely someone in the United States. But now, when something similar happens, I end up speaking to a foreigner whose English is difficult to understand. I often think to myself, 'Why don't they just use AI?'
That's when it dawned on me: they're not switching to AI at all. They're just replacing American workers with lower-paid foreign workers.
