Actually we probably don't have an opportunity. You can add AI to almost anything electronic, and as mentioned in the film, facial recognition is something any phone can do, and many do. You could add AI to a drone, you could add a small device for killing to a drone. It's already too late, and the idea's hardly a secret. It's very likely that arms companies have these in development like their other cute little robo-puppy weapons. Arms companies run governments, it's not unreasonable to say that. We all know that "lobbying" (or "legal bribery") exists, the "military-industrial complex" is hardly a new idea. While democracy is a ridiculous pantomime, it's only going to get worse. The fact that rich men get into power more easily, and in countries like the USA, *only* rich men and women can get into power, has to be stopped. You don't get rich by helping your community, or the human race. Especially very rich. Bad people dominate, even though ordinary people vastly outnumber them. Am I talking about democracy, revolution, or terrorism? It's all the same thing. Another word for "shock and awe" would be "terror".
