Your point at 18:30 is roughly what corporations ultimately want, you could tell the moment that Meta started trialing fake AI profiles that pretended to be human, and only stopped due to backlash. These companies don't really make money from content, they make money from _surveilling the way we interact with content_ - therefore, having any other real humans or real content on the platform is pretty secondary. If they could lock us in a box with an infinite slop generator to endlessly profile us and then endlessly sell us ads, they would. Humans are not really part of their business model.
