Tbh, ppl that uses "a.i" rn are don't understand it's real use. To me being an artist is not about the drawing it's about how the drawing feels and usually most of a.i don't have that feel. Some great art even without context or description makes you feel something. And i as a comic artist some times use what's considered "a.i" to minimize on backgrounds because if you've done art before it's time consuming. So something that would normally take me 3hrs now take me 40-50 mins. Amd i think. And i think a.i art rn isn't considered art is because 9/10 of times the art isn't what the person envisioned it, but a.i uses other artist's art as a lens and that lens is blurry. So i think a.i in the future, when it becomes a medium that is considered art is when it can take what we envisioned and make it real, although it will be hard to think of every small details and it'll still take skills to envision something good.
