There are around 350 or so fatal rear end collisions involving motorcycles in the US every year, so this error is not just do to self driving cars! Perhaps in future time they will incorporate radio devices in all vehicles that can allow their detection ! Until then there may be no realistic solution! As for anyone placing their vehicle on autodrive they still need to be held fully responsible for any accidents caused by it! They are the ones who placed their trust in it and turned it on! This should be on the books as law despite any claims that self driving vehicles are safe! There is always a possibility of a glitch that can even be caused by an errant radioactive particle or cosmic rays and this will likely always be true! I believe that NASA did several studies on that affecting their spacecrafts! Also everyone needs to understand that here is no Actual Artificial Intelligence! It may appear intelligent but its just some programmed algorithms with no thoughts! Of course it can be debated if there is any actual intelligence even in us but that's a whole different problem! Ty for the video and info!
