Artificial Intelligence has been increasingly documented as prone to "lying" by giving false information, prevaricating, and defending itself when resisted, even aggressively. Giving students an easy path without the intellectual development provided by challenges of earning success after experiencing failure along with controlling one's emotions will result in fact-smart minds without depth of character that produces genuinely thoughful adults who possess wisdom. Teachers already use AI as a time-saving crutch to stave off the burnout from tedium and unrealistic curricula devised by bureaucratic systems focused on statistics over substance. For example, those who learned long division and multiplication tables instead of the ease of calculators tend to have higher thinking stamina. Similarly those who read real books versus electronic versions tend to have stronger memory skills, especially if their reports on what was read is handwritten instead of touchscreen typed.
